The minimum wage is rising in Greece.


The Greek government has raised the minimum wage for workers. The new decision came into effect from April 1. This is the third increase in the minimum wage since Kyriakos Misotakis took office as the country's prime minister in 2019. In this phase, the monthly minimum wage will increase by 9.4 percent to 780 euros.

Currently which is 713 euros. Announcing the increase in salary, the Prime Minister said, 'The increase in wages may not solve the problem caused by the increase in the price of daily commodities. But at the moment it will bring initial relief for the people of the country. Along with that, the common people will also be assured about the implementation of the government's plan to increase salaries in the public and private sectors.
